The 7th SOFOR GIS Conference will encompass topics related to the use of GIS and other geospatial technologies in forestry and natural resource management. We welcome contributions in the following areas:

Our keynote speaker is Dr. Robert Weih from the University of Arkansas-Monticello.
On December 7th, from 12:00-4:00 PM, we are planning to have a field demonstration of new technology (GPS, lasers, etc.) at Flinchum's Phoenix on Whitehall Forest, four miles from the UGA campus (see the map below for location).
This session is free and all are welcome. At this point Landmark Systems and Silvics Solutions have agreed to participate.
